Provision of Eco-friendly Packaging at UNIMA
On February 25, Avore Technologies partnered with the UNIMA Wildlife and Environmental Society (UNIMAWES) during Environmental Awareness Week to address the growing use of thin plastics on campus. Students actively engaged vendors and peers in conversations about the environmental and health impacts of plastic, encouraging a shift in everyday habits while promoting more responsible choices.
To support this effort, Avore provided eco-friendly kraft paper packaging as a practical alternative, allowing vendors to transition away from plastic without disrupting their businesses. In collaboration with Malawi Creation Care Network (MCCN), WasteAdvisors, and Flying Girls Malawi, the initiative showed that when awareness is paired with accessible solutions, meaningful change becomes possible—one package at a time.

Avore secures grant from National Youth Council of Malawi(NYCOM)

Earthshot Prize, Cape Town
Avore Technologies was represented at Earthshot Week in Cape Town, bringing together young climate leaders from across Africa and Asia. The experience offered valuable learning through workshops, masterclasses, and engagements focused on driving real climate action.
